Upon opening the bottle, there are aromas of apple, mustard, hickory and smoke. My palate is greeted with simultaneously sweet savory flavors of apple, cinnamon, garlic, roasted chile, and smoke. It has a subtle tartness that reminds me of spicy mustard, and a lingering heat from chiptle. Memories of pork chops and applesauce come flooding back, elevated to a whole new level. This is a chutney, barbecue sauce, and glaze all in one. It's great as a glaze for fowl, pork and salmon; makes an amazing glaze and dipping sauce for chicken wings.
